Declare a Mission:
Faith + Work Integration
We are invited to co-create with God and integrate our faith + work so that the 40 hours of our work week becomes an act of worship. Let’s look at a sample journey…
This journey begins by knowing who we are so that we are not driven out of performance, but can work from rest. From there, we discover the unique gifts or “superpowers” God has placed within us and the needs or challenges we are designed to tackle in the world. All these elements come together in a mission that acts as a guide for the jobs, ventures and vocational choices we make.
Applying the tools of design thinking from Stanford’s design school (“the d.school”), we envision possible futures where our mission can come to life. This may look like adapting an existing job to embody more of our mission, exploring something on the side, or launching a new venture. Create an action plan to “prototype” these possible futures to make them a reality.

What people are saying…
-
“Everybody should go through something like this.
It crystallizes and brings it all together: what has the Lord created you for and to be.
Declare a Mission is helping people understand what their mission is from God’s perspective.”
- Rich Farrell, CEO + Founder
-
"Declare a Mission was what I’ve been needing in my life.
Before, I felt lost with no sense of direction or purpose in my life.
I left with clarity on my mission and how to move forward with small, actionable steps to explore the possible paths to find the right fit.
I am so so grateful.”
- Beth Melesse, Small Business Owner
-
“I left with greater confidence in the unique expertise I bring.
I now see new ways to design two challenging upcoming projects around my strengths, fueling me with the drive I need to move forward.”
- Amalia Rothschild-Keita, Entrepreneur & Researcher, East Bay, California
